Film Nights

We have been showing films at the Village Hall regularly for several years, running this as a cinema club. Everyone is welcome, and it costs nothing to join. All you need to do is let Louise Redfern (broomvillagehall@gmail.com) have your email address, so we can send you details of the films each month. Membership of the club will include all people living in households where at least one person has provided an email address.

Our licence only allows us to screen films that have been released on DVD. We aim to notify choices in advance, so club members will be able plan ahead.

On entry to a film screening, we sell a raffle ticket to each person (at £3.00) and after the film, the person with the winning ticket number gets to keep the DVD / Blu-Ray!

We aim to show around 15 – 18 films during the year. The film nights will normally be on the second Friday of each month (and, where there is a second film, the fourth Friday).

Details of films can be found on the Broom Village Hall Notice Board and members of the Cinema Club will be notified of all films by email.

We are fully licenced for all events held by the Broom Village Hall Committee and refreshments (beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, ice creams and chocolate) will be available both before the film, and during an interval.

Please note that  unless specifically stated in the information below, film showings start at 7.30pm, regardless of the film’s classification.  Where children are permitted they should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
